Friday, February 25th

Good snowy morning! A Winter Storm Warning continues today through 10:00 a.m. Saturday. The NWS is expecting 6-10 inches of snow by the time the storm wraps up. Winds are also quite strong. A gust of 41 MPH was recorded at the Fairbanks airport this morning. With heavy snow and gusty winds, visibility will be reduced on the roads. Please be safe when driving today!

Tonight...Snow and areas of blowing snow with poor visibility. Snow accumulation 1 to 2 inches. Storm total snow accumulation 6 to 10 inches. Lows 5 below to zero. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph on hill tops and 10 to 20 mph in valleys.

Saturday...Snow and areas of blowing snow with poor visibility at times until mid morning. Cloudy the rest of the day. Highs zero to 5 above. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
