WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKST TONIGHT FOR FREEZING RAIN
A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKST TONIGHT. OCCASIONAL FREEZING RAIN AND DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING. ADDITIONAL ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE LESS THAN ONE TENTH OF AN INCH. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW LATE THIS EVENING.
DRIVING CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN VERY DANGEROUS THIS EVENING. ROAD SURFACES IN SOME AREAS ARE EXTREMELY SLICK. WATER IS PONDING IN LOW SPOTS OF SOME ROADS MAKING DEEP PUDDLES THAT WILL FREEZE LATE TONIGHT. SLUSH IN PARKING LOTS WILL FREEZE LATE TONIGHT AS WELL.
ICE HAS ACCUMULATED ON TREE BRANCHES IN SOME AREAS AND COULD LEAD TO DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES.
