WINTER STORM WARNING continues in effect until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.

AN EXTREMELY WARM AND MOIST AIR MASS...MOVING AROUND A LARGE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE NORTH PACIFIC...WILL BRING PERIODS OF RAIN THROUGH TUESDAY. EVEN THOUGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLIGHTLY ABOVE FREEZING IN MANY AREAS...RAIN WILL RAPIDLY FREEZE ON EXPOSED SURFACES. DRIVING CONDITIONS WILL BECOME EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
