Thursday, November 11th

Happy Veteran's Day! I hope you take time today to thank our military for their service to our country. They sacrifice so much for our freedom.

The weather today will be rather tranquil. We should see clouds on the increase with highs in the teens. Friday will be a replica of today with cloudy skies and highs in the mid teens. By Saturday, a weak low will move into the area and bring a chance of snow. From the NWS forecast discussion, this low does not look that impressive. If we get an inch of fresh powder, I think we will be doing good.

At the end of the seven day forecast, there is a mention of a deep closed ridge developing which could allow for the coldest temperatures of the season to filter into the Interior. If this holds true, we could see high temperatures 10 below zero to 20 below zero.
