The End is in Sight

Winter Storm Warning Continues until 6:00 p.m.
Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00 a.m.

After two days of rain and freezing rain, the end is in sight. We should see periods of freezing rain today mixing with snow this afternoon. Tonight we will see some snow showers. Areas north and west of Fairbanks could see up to 2 inches of snow.

Thanksgiving Day will be cooler than the past few days. Highs should top out in the 20's with snow likely. According to the NWS, we could see 1 to 2 inches of snow.

By the weekend, temperatures begin to plummet to below zero for lows and around zero for highs.

Tonight...Snow likely north and west of Fairbanks with snow accumulation 1 to 2 inches. A chance of snow elsewhere. Lows 20 to 25. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph developing.

Thanksgiving Day...Snow likely. Snow accumulation 1 to 2 inches. Highs around 20. West winds 10 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night...Cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Lows around 5 above. West winds around 15 mph.

Friday...Cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Highs around 10 above. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
