Friday, November 12th

Good morning! Thursday brought us mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 20 degrees. We have not cooled that much over night. This morning, we are sitting at 19 degrees. Today's forecast from the NWS expects mostly cloudy skies with a chance of flurries this afternoon and highs between 20 and 25. Tonight we will see more flurries with lows between 5 and 15 above 0.

If you read this blog and are not from Alaska, there are many interesting facts about the 49th state. Since I have only been living here just over 1 1/2 years, I am still learning many of these trivial trivialities. Here is one that may interest you.

Juneau (population of about 31,262) is the only state capital in the US with no road access. It can only be reached by air or sea.
